Hi everyone, hope you all had the most awesome of weeks! Time for the Weekend Follies. This time around, instead of funny cute little critters, I though a change of pace is in order. Today, Ww'll visit the often wacky world of sports.
You know the routine. Enjoy them, and if you feel so inspired, please leave a caption for one or more in the comments. Have a great weekend!
Dang ... those are PAINFUL to look at! But funny! I was going to say "ouch" for the second one but then I realized that it applied across the board. Hmmmm ...
1. When are you due? And does your OB know you're playing football?
2. I knew I should have worn my lucky pants!
3. (really high pitched) "EEEK!"
4. And I thought getting up on the wrong side of the bed was bad!
Beth, thanks for running the table. Nicely done. Why is it we like to laugh at stuff like this? Now, if it were me in these pics, I would not be laughing.
These are great photos for making up captions. Some of the commenters came up with some real doozies - made me laugh out loud.
1. My gut instinct tells me this isn't looking good. 2."Oswaldo, what's your point?" 3. That's teach you to raid my underwear drawer. 4. I thought we were doing the limbo. 5. The smell of defeat is the pits, man. 6. Human sling shot. 7. That's the last time I let Jiffy Lube rotate my tires. 8. Can we just stick with the traditional chiropractic manipulations?
We have some creative ones today. I actually fell into a hurdle while running in high school, so I know what that feels like. I can laugh at it now. Wasn't funny at the time though.
I wish I could say no athletes were harmed in the making of these pictures, but obviously I can't. We shouldn't laugh at other people's pain. But with the money they get paid I'm not too worried about it.

Bike one is easy - oh, crap!
First one - trying to hide the football again, George?

7. Uh .... oh!
8. FOUL! (Or RED CARD!)
Ouch and yuck would fit for most of them.
Oh wow! You didn't tell me I needed to stretch before reading this post. I hurt all over! :)

#1 Big Bear, the team mascot, had problems with his uniform.
#2 Nut-kabobs
#3 The opponent was defeated quickly by the famous "wedgie" hold.
#4 It's hurdles, not limbo!
#5 The defense was strong and led to a runaway victory for the stinky team.
#6 The new sling-shot play was useless.
#7 I'm getting a new pit crew...as soon as I recover.
#8 The childhood game of "ride the little pony" wasn't as much fun as he remembered.
You have made my evening!!!
Guys being guys! :)

Truly 'ouch' moments.
Happy Weekend ... and stay away from things like these :)
Face in the armpit...ewww!

Look like that matador got what he deserved.
Jai
Good old locker-room humor. Never fails!
Quite different to what I expected. all I can say at some of them is "OUCH"
Yvonne.
This is so funny! All I can say for most of them is Ouch!
Some real sports classics. I've heard of extreme sports, but these look like extreme pain.
Lee
Tossing It Out
Jai, yeah, that one can be filed under K for Karma.
Lydia, Austin Powers would be proud.
Yvonne, sometimes we just have to change things up a bit.
Clarissa, I was laughing pretty hard just trying to get the pic count down to eight. So many to choose from.
Arlee, in honor of the X Games I thought this was an appropriate post.
It's been a draining week. But not as tough as these guys ...
A couple of them are just plain ewww!
It does look like it'll hurt but I watch rugby so I love these pictures!
Stephen, have you ever watched the Fiji team in action at Seven's Rugby?
oh I love the bike one the best. So funny! (I'm sure the rider didn't think so) lol
Some of these guys have apparently removed themselves from the breeding pool temporarily, if not forever. :)
Ouch and ouch, Stephen! Have a great Sunday!!!
LOL, lots of ouch moments. Have a great week!

LOL! I think the first one adds a whole new meaning to having the stuffing knocked out of him!
Too darn funny!
