I’ve officially ended all my scheduled guest bloggers for the summer. We had a theme of children’s writers and were able to spotlight many awesome writers dedicated to developing our youth of today into our leaders of tomorrow! You're all worthy of my Awesomous Maximus Award!
So thanks to a long list of guests (too many to note)! Your posts were very timely, giving me the opportunity to work on my MS for Opening. And thanks to Arlee Bird over at Tossing It Out and a few others who took the time to read my MS last month and give me very relevant feed back! It’s a lot more developed now and is in great shape!

Thanks to Bob Sanchez for sending me a signed copy of his latest book Getting Lucky. It’s now officially on my TBR List. Best wishes to you Bob for your success with Getting Lucky!
Here’s an image of Captain Alex Cavanaugh’s guitar. Why? Why not?
I’m thoroughly enjoying the Harry Potter series (at the expense of my MS Opening). I’m wrapping up book number five The Order of the Phoenix. Today, I went to Barnes and Nobles to pick up the sixth book in the series The Half Blood Prince. This way, I don’t have to wait to get right back into the series.

One aspect I appreciate in the series is how Rowling has developed a gigantic, runaway bureaucracy called the Ministry of Magic which is the government of the magical community. It so resembles our massive and over bloated governmental bureaucracy that is, of course, run by incompetent, myopic, corrupt, self-serving @$$h0!e$ who half the time have no clue as to what is really happening. The ministry as a whole is almost a character in itself ...... and I have to admit I enjoyed a couple references to Uranus jokes between Ron Weasly and Harry Potter.

Here’s a picture of Old Kitty’s cat Charlie. Why? Why not???

Alex's guitar! How cool. :)
Slamdunk, that was a fun series with some really terrific writers. Looking back, I can think of many ways to have better promoted it.
Cloudia, Sounds good to me!
Suze, very cool indeed!
Hi Stephen .. I always enjoy your posts and am so pleased you're promoting science to kids ..
I'm learning so much about JKR's planning from the Harry Potter series .. I'd prefer she stayed in Scotland than came over to Washington!
Enjoy the weekend .. cheers Hilary
Why not indeed!! Yay for a fab bits and pieces and yay too for your children's writers guest series!! That was really good and informative and hopeful for the kids to get them reading and writing!!

I enjoyed your science based for the children , it's never too early to learn.....or too old.
Have a lovely week-end.
Yvonne.
You had some great guests here, Stephen!
Why not, indeed!
Hooray for you, helping to promote reading for children. Kudos to you.
I'll have to give the HP books another go. I've only read the first chapter of the first one and quit...
You've had terrific guests! :)
Love the HP series - it's so well developed :)
Why not, indeed!? Congrats on the award.
I just love that cat Charlie. I wonder if he can play Alex's guitar?
Of course! My guitar rocks. Thanks Stephen. Not sure what sounds would come out of it if Charlie played my guitar though. Might be better than what I produce some days!
Terrific way of guest posts to free up your valuable writing time.
Best wishes for a wonderful summer,
Donna
I think YOU are the one that deserves the Awesomous Maximus award! Thank you for your continued support of Little Pickle Press.
People in Congress have no idea what the American people want or what it's really like to live in this country.
Thank you, Stephen! Appreciate all you do!
Alex, I can see Charlie wailing away on your guitar! I also need a nap too.
Donna, it's a win-win situation for the guest and for me.
Cameron, thanks! I humbly accept.
Diane, amen to that.
Heidi, we'll have to do it again sometime.
The blogging community is great, isn't it? Have a good weekend!
Thanks for hosting me and thanks for the award. Right back at ya-you deserve this award too.
Thank you for mentioning my book Getting Lucky, Steve. I hope you enjoy it. By the way, anyone with a Kindle can order it at http://tinyurl.com/3gzftdn
Book 5 was my favorite one of the series. Though I do love 7 because it wrapped up everything so nicely.
Hi, Charlie!
LOL, I love your comparison of the Ministry of Magic with our collection of political clowns.
Glad to hear you are enjoying the HP series.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
